This was held on April 27, 2023 as a hybrid with some members joining the session hosted by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) at itu.int/girlsinICT.

According to the Executive Director, DNS Women Nigeria, Mrs Nkem Nweke, since 2011, over 377,000 girls and young women have taken part in over 11,400 International Girls in ICT Day celebrations in 171 countries.
She cited ITU documents as saying that governments, national ICT regulatory authorities, ICT companies, academic institutions, UN agencies, and NGOs, like DNS Women Nigeria, across the world were all encouraged to join the movement and celebrate International Girls in ICT Day.
