 Welcome to DNS Women [Nigeria]:


As you may be aware, DNS Women generically stands for Domain Name System Women. 


Mission Statement:

Our mission is to offer all-round support to inspire and actively encourage Nigerian women and related issues of concern in the DNS industry in the country, Africa and globally in alliance with other likeminded organisations.


Establishment:

The DNS Women Nigeria was established since April 2015 to help showcase to women several opportunities inherent in the Domain Name Industry by the President/Founder, Nkemdilim Anthonia Nweke (Mrs), who was until recently the Executive Director, Operations at DigitalSENSE Africa Media group.


She also served at the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA) as an elected Executive Director and currently the President, Catholic Women Organisation (CWO), St. Jude's Parish, Mafoluku-Oshodi, Lagos, Nigeria among others.


Membership:

Membership of DNS Women Nigeria is open and free from the private and public sectors from across the Federal Republic of Nigeria with anticipated alliances at African and globe levels for development of women's global Internet leadership through networking, information and resources sharing, thereby, playing a focused role on increasing the participation of women leaders in DNS industry, especially in Nigeria.


Therefore, DNS Women Nigeria encourages women across the country to respond to the increase need of leadership essential to the growth of the Internet.
